General Information

  • May 18th - May 20
  • Plan to arrive no earlier than 7:00 pm Friday

Lodging

  • Scouts and Akelas (parents/leaders) will sleep in tents
  • Contact Corey Needleman if you need a tent
  • Please do not arrive any earlier than 7:00 PM Friday. We need to get the site checked in with the camp ranger prior to anyone setting up tents.
  • Please check in with the Pack BEFORE pitching your tent. There may be places where we will be asked to not pitch our tents.

Location/Maps

What to pack

  • Tent
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Water bottle - hydration is important, whatever the weather
  • Warm clothes - wool socks are best, dress in layers; prepare for weather that is colder and wetter than you expect!
  • Extra socks
  • Rain gear
  • Toothbrush, toothpaste
  • Books or boardgames for quiet time
  • Soccer ball, frisbee, kickball, etc for free time
  • Pocket knife (Scouts will need to take the Whittlin' Chip knife safety course to use a knife at camp; Scouts who have their Whittlin' Chip should bring their card/patch to camp)
  • The Pack provides all cookware/dishware.

Be prepared with a change of clothes for any weather condition.

What NOT to pack

  • Remember NO FOOD should be eaten or stored in your tents. The camp cost includes all meals and snacks which will be served from the shelter.
  • Please leave all electronic devices at home.

Activities

Camp will include a trip to the Archery & BB Gun ranges, belt loops, opportunities to take group hikes, kickball and more.

If you need to arrive Saturday morning, keep in mind that we'll be hitting the ranges right after breakfast. Please note that when you send in your reservation.

Paperwork:

  • Parents of Scouts who are not coming themselves must complete a permission slip, available below. Please fill it out completely and make sure that it is given to the adult driving your Scout to Camp. (Not required for Scouts whose parents are attending.)
  • You must also complete a Health Form and bring it with you. Health forms are valid for one year. If you turned in a Health Form for Fall Camp, you do NOT need to fill out a new one for Winter Camp. Forms are available at: Health Form (Short Term Medical Record)
  • All scouts must complete a Shooting Sports permission slip in order to participate in BB Gun and Archery ranges. Shooting Sports forms are valid for one year. If you turned in a Shooting Sports Form for Fall Camp, you do NOT need to fill out a new one for Spring Camp. Parent Action Items
  • RSVP and payment are due Tuesday, May 17, via Square or to your Den Leader - 
    Some can swipe a card now.
  • Fee is $25/person. 
  • If your Scout participated in the Wreath Sale there may be a discount. 
  • Make checks out to Pack 1.
