Wreath Sale Details

Wreath packets were distributed at the last Pack meeting which contain glossy brochures, order forms, Minneapolis solicitor licenses, etc.  Scouts who need a packet can contact their Den Leader or Cubmaster Cory Branden at

The wreath sale is our only fundraiser, and a great way to support the Pack's activities.

The wreath sale basically involves pre-selling wreaths to your friends and neighbors.  In addition to scouts selling individually (door-to-door with supervision or calling around), there will be sales by Den on Sundays in October at Minnehaha United Methodist.  Your Den Leader will provide details.

Money is collected at time of sale, not at delivery.  The complete details for the sale and awards are below.


Wreath packets must be turned in by October 31st!

Where can I turn in my packet?

1)      Packets may be turned in at the Halloween party, or

2)      During the week of October 25th at the home of Ted Barnhill; 4657 31st Ave. S.

Your packet should contain the following:

-          1 color brochure

-          1 price sheet (to be used for in person deliveries)

-          2 mail order only sheets

-          1 permit to sell in the city of Minneapolis


What do I do with this stuff?


In person deliveries:

-          You will find more items listed in the color brochure than are listed on the pricing sheet, we do not sell all of the items the company makes available.  If you sell an item not listed on the pricing sheet, it will not be ordered!

-          Below you will find "sell sheets" with only the items that we are selling (Pack 1 Wreath Sale.pdf).  There is also a spreadsheet to help track your orders (Pack 1 Wreath Sale.xlsx).

-          Each pricing sheet MUST have the scout’s full name and telephone number listed on top.  This allows us to not only track your sales but gives us a telephone number to call in case your pricing sheet does not match the cash included.

-          Checks must be made to Pack 1.  If someone writes a check in the name of the scout or their parent, please aggregate these and write a single check to Pack 1.

-          Cash is acceptable.



Mail order option (new for 2015)

-          PDF form below (Pack 1 Evergreen Order Form.pdf) may be emailed to prospective buyers so they know what is available.  Please note that the prices are different for these items than for those hand delivered, the difference being shipping costs.

-          Items will be shipped in late November directly from the wreath manufacturer.

-          For each item sold that needs to be shipped, please complete a separate mail order sheet (the forms that were enclosed).  If you need more sheets, contact Cory Branden at

-          These must be turned in by 10/31 with other wreath sale items, no cash, no order.



$100 – 1 free camp for a scout

$300 – 1 free camp for a scout / adult

$400 – 2 free camps for a scout / adult

$500 – 3 free camps for a scout / adult


Polar cubs is not included in the free camps


-          Top seller gets a prize from the scout shop

-          All scouts who sell over $500 get a chance to throw a cream pie at a scout leader of their choice at an upcoming Pack event.

-          If you have multiple scouts selling wreaths but turn in just one form, the wreath order will be split in equal halves for the purpose of awards (unless we are specifically instructed how to split up order).

The pick-up date is Saturday, November 14th, at Bethel Ev. Luteran Church, 4120 17th Ave S., time TBD.
