Getting Started

When is a good time to get started?

Like most Cub Scout Packs, we go year-round. You can become a scout at any time. Just contact our Cubmaster or the Den Leader in your age group - or, just show up at one of our meetings.

If you have an interest in learning more about our Pack, if you have questions, or if you are ready to get started, please click here to email our Pack leadership. It only takes a minute and we will contact you shortly.

When do we meet?

Pack Meetings (when all of our scouts, K-5th grade, get together in the same place - with the Cubmaster) are normally held once per month, on a Monday.

Den Meetings (when just one age group meets - with the Den Leader) are normally held twice a month on Mondays, and when there are specific outings.

To verify meeting times, you can check the calendar here.

What is the Cost of Joining?

Annual dues are set by our District. Details can be found on our Dues page. Don't let the cost scare you off. No boy is turned away for inability to pay. All boys, regardless of how much or how little paid, are full members of the Pack, and will receive a Handbook and all earned advancement items at no additional cost. If you have any questions at all, please contact our Committee Chair.

We are not worried about the fees being paid up front. The District will work with you and will accept any amount that you feel is fair. Scouting is actually quite reasonable considering all that your son will be doing throughout the year. Don't let the cost get in the way of your decision.
