Save the Date: Spring Camp is May 14-16

Pack 1 will attend Spring Camp May 14-16 at Rum River Scout Camp. Spring Camp will look and feel a little different this year, due to Covid-19 safety precautions in effect at all Northern Star Council camps, but it will still be fun! Although all camp buildings are currently closed (excluding latrines), the shooting-sports ranges remain open, so we will still be able to enjoy archery and BB-gun target shooting. Because camp bunkhouse and meeting-hall buildings are closed due to Covid-19 restrictions, Pack 1 Scouts, parents and leaders will camp in tents and we will prepare, cook and eat all our meals outdoors. Our campsites (#3 & #5) arer divided into distinct "patrol sites" that will allow us to camp in pods, as per state/District rules. Each patrol site has its own fire ring, picnic table, nearby water and latrine. Plan to arrive at camp between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 14 qnd plan to set up tents ASAP upon arrival. We will depart from camp around 10 a.m. Sunday morning. More information, and a registration link, will be emailed soon to the all-Pack email list. If you need more information sooner, feel free to email a query to pack1mn@gmail.com
