Our Goals
The Lion program provides exciting indoor and outdoor activities specifically designed for kindergarten-age youth along with their adult partner. Adult partners are there to support and guide, and allow the new Cub Scout to discover risks and rewards under adult supervision.

Summary
A Lion learns by doing these things himself. As he/she learns and grows, the relationship with their adult partner grows as well. At the conclusion of their kindergarten year, the Lion will transition to Tigers and continue on their journey through Cub Scouting.
As full members of the pack, Lions are able to participate in all pack meetings and activities, fundraising efforts, camping programs, pinewood derby, and any other activity that the pack is involved in. It is very exciting!

Youth in the Wolf Den will learn more about staying healthy, knowing their home and community, tools for fixing and building, healthy cooking, being safe, making good choices and much more.

Welcome to the Bear Den
Den 1
3rd Grade, 8-9 Yrs

Our Goals
In the Bear Den, 3rd grade youth begin to take on more personal responsibility. To earn his/her Bear Badge, each Scout will learn about safe use of tools and begin developing confidence in skills required for outdoor activities such as camping and safe knife handling. This is the year your Scout will grow in amazing ways.
Summary
Much of the advancement for the Bear rank is done by the Scout with his/her family outside of the Den. Parents can sign off on achievements in Scoutbook (the BSA's advancement tracking software) as they are completed. The Bear program relies heavily on family involvement, with emphasis on the Scout doing more with his/her den and more individual direction as s/he graduates to Webelos.

Webelos is a 20-month program for 4th-grade youth to prepare to join a Scouts BSA troop while learning outdoor skills and participating in many different activity badges. A well-run group of Webelos is a gradual change from being an ‘adult-led’ den to being a ‘youth-led’ patrol ready to fit into an adventurous Scouting troop.
Summary
The Webelos program has two major milestones -- the Webelos rank badge, to be earned in 4th grade; and the Arrow of Light rank, to be earned in 5th grade. The final part of Webelos is bridging over into a Scouts BSA troop selected individually by the Scout.

Our Goals
The Arrow of Light rank is the second half of the Webelos program, designed to help 5th grade youth to prepare to join a Scouts BSA troop while learning outdoor skills and participating in many different activity badges. A well-run Arrow of Light program is a gradual change from being an ‘adult-led’ den to being a ‘youth-led’ patrol ready to fit right into an adventurous scouting troop.
Summary
The Webelos program has two major milestones - the Webelos rank badge to be earned at the 4th grade level and the Arrow of Light rank to be earned at the 5th grade. Fifth graders new to Scouting do not need to earn the Webelos badge - they work only on the Arrow of Light requirements. The Arrow of Light rank is intended to help Scouts prepare for entering the Scouts BSA program, and culminates in a ceremony in which each youth bridges over into a Scouts BSA troop selected individually by the scout.
